I believe everything in life is given to you as a lesson. As an experience, you will learn from it and grow and thus, make you a better person.
Supposedly.
Some people don't learn.
Some people stay immature and narrow minded for the rest of their lives.
It's a pity.
A waste of knowledge.
I'm only twenty years old and I have experience more things than people older than me.
I guess I associated age with wisdom, but that's wrong. Of course, there are many things I don't know. I realized that I am still naive because, yes, I am ONLY twenty years old. However, that doesn't make me naive in every aspect of life.
I have dealt with all kinds of people and all kinds of situations in my life. I have dealt with backstabbers, superficial friends, users, pompous snouts, and the worse of them all, liars.
I'm not saying I don't say a lie once or a million times a day like the next guy over there.
But when it comes to my friends and people I know, I am real as it can possibly be.
I'm misunderstood about 90% of the time. And it really sucks to be in that position. WHY?
because people choose to misjudge me on the simple misunderstandings of me.
I cared about that. I cared about what people thought of me. I cared that people misjudged me.
And although, at this very moment I can't say, I don't care completely... I will not care in the future.
I have people, even though it's a handful, that love me and that actually know me, that cares and will do anything for me. Likewise, I will do anything for them.
I know though, that these people that I can't stand, these people that misunderstand me and misjudge me and OSTRACIZE ME.... I know I can't get away from them. Because even if I leave this group.... another one will follow it.
The lesson here is that I will learn how to tolerant them. Learn to not care about the misjudgement and ostracizing... Make sure that it doesn't hurt me.
I will be tolerant. I will learn how to deal with people I don't like, because I will always have people I don't like. It's simple as that.
The key to tolerance is indifference.
Don't put forth emotions and expect none back.
It will be hard. It already became hard.
But as a growing adult, I know I can get past this. I know I can learn from this.
How do you think I got here in there first place?
And again, I'm probably coming at this from a wrong angle.
But that's beauty of lessons...
You make mistakes, you evaluate and try again.
This isn't my first time, and I'm pretty sure it isn't my last...
But it's a lesson waiting to be learned.
