Day 1: Twisted Roots

Today, Christy and I went to a burger joint called Twisted Roots. They had the weirdest burgers, well they have the original cheeseburgers and stuff...but they had other burgers like lamb, elk, alligator, and buffalo...then they had creative burgers with a mixture of avocado and other veggies. Also they had hot dogs, I bet they're pretty good for the price of $4-$5. They served curly fries, but also sweet potato chips.

Today I decided to get the Garlic Mushrooms and Swiss burger with curly fries, because I loooooove curly fries <3

The cheese was melting off my burger and the burger was about 3/4 inch thick with steamy, Medium well meat. SUPPPER JUICY! The veggies were really fresh and the curly fries were so TASTY! :D I think they have their own seasoning for the curly fries, so delicious~ My burger was 6.99 and the curly fries was 1.99.

Christy got the Western Buffalo burger. From what she said it was really big and one of the best burgers she eaten. It was a bit expensive though. 8.99 for the buffalo burger and 1.99 for the curly fries. She said it wasn't worth the price. But since it was so good, she would come back here again.

They have their own sauces as well. Apparently it was a 60 year old recipe, didn't try out anything except the BBQ sauce. I'll go back there and try out the other sauces again. I might actually try the alligator burger too :D

This joint was pretty cute too. Instead of giving out numbers or letter for when your food comes out, they give you these laminated cards with weird names like, Darth Vader, Judy Garland, Miss America. HAHA it was pretty entertaining when you're waiting for you food.

Ours was called Bo Derek :D Who the hell is he?

Another great thing about this place was a lot of it was biodegradable... it was a very eco-friendly place :D
The straws were made out of plants, the cups were made out of corn :D

Well... that concludes Christy and my first day of food blogging. Twisted Roots is pretty darn awesome, maybe a tad bit expensive, but amazing for gourmet burgers :D

Christy eating her big ass burger~ :D
