Well! anyways...today was the DAY 2 of my food blog! ^_^ Christy, me and Nardos decided to go Mediterranean and went to Fadi's in Richardson, Texas.
Until this moment, I've never been to a Mediterranean restaurant and until this moment, I'm going to keep going back there! It was DELICCCCCIOUS! Mind you, it was a bit expensive.. but I think it was worth it! It's one of those places you go to treat yourself, not an every week lunch/dinner with your friends. The amount of food they give you though is plentiful! so you must make sure you go there on an empty stomach, or you won't be able to finish your food.
Mine was called Beef Shawerma, which is basically just "thinly" sliced beef and it just came with a side of really good rice! and that white sauce was amazing! Tasted kind of like ranch? I think.... The only thing I didn't like about this dish was the fact that i didn't have a lot of vegetables, instead there was a whooole plate of meat. You may think this wasn't a lot of meat, but no... it was enough. However towards the end you sort of go into a meat coma... and a side dish of veggies would of been great...but it was alright :D
Christy's Gyro... I forgot what kind of meat she got, but according to her it was great as well. and get this! SHE ACTUALLY FINISHED HER FOOD! Christy NEVER finishes her food! It was amazing. She scarfed that whole gyro down.
Nardos's Meat Platter. It was so much food. She didn't even finish (don't blame her). But everything look delicious! And even though it was like 12 bucks for this, it was unlimited! You could go back to the "line" and get more of everything! Which is ridiculous! That's way too much food for one person!
Overall, I really enjoyed this experience with Mediterranean food and I will be going back there!~ :D
Now later on the day, we decided to go to this broke down mall because I heard Hot Topic was closing so they would be having a lot of sales... Here some fun pictures~ :D
The Cash Lady had the biggest gauge I've ever seen. Ridiculous.
Christy being...weird :D
I bought blue hair extensions :D awessome~
Awesome Car! :D I only like the Mercedes with the engraved sign in the grill~
You can never go wrong with Starbucks Coffee :D
Now let's flash forward to Tuesday, June 29, 2010...
Today is a special day. Today is an eclipse day.
My friends and I decided to go to the midnight premiere of Eclipse (She's crazy about it) and so we bought our tickets weeks ago! What the movie theater failed to tell us was that they were was Special pre-showing of the movie at 9PM on June 29th. Apparently you had to buy $50 worth of stuff at Nordstrom and they'll give you that ticket for the 9PM showing. We ended up meeting up at the theater around 3 (she wanted to line up early) so we had about nine hours to kill on our hands. Then we found out that we couldn't line up until 6PM because they had to start lining up for the 9 PM showing. So we just decided to look around the mall and eat while we wait. Around 5PM, two girls approach us with three lanyards and a tag that said VIP PASS.
They said they couldn't make the 6PM showing or something....and when they handed them to us, I felt pretty guilty that they were giving it to us.. and I offered our tickets of the midnight showing...which I kind of regret because I could have just refund them and got my 10 dollars back. -_-
So basically VIP PASS was for people who just bought them for 30 dollars and it includes free drinks and popcorn, no waiting in line, and you get to watch New Moon and Eclipse...which is crazy! who would pay $30???? But hey~ we got them for freeeee :D
BTW, Eclipse was awesome. It was amazing and I want to go watch it again.
Team Edward ->
Whose team are you on?
Eclipse was a fun night with my good friends Sekoiah and Yazzy ^^
